Warrior kids are going to Middle School States !

Warrior kids are going to Middle School States at IMG May 22nd, 2021 !


What an exciting weekend with our our Middle State Championship qualifying athletes.


On Friday evening they ran the 1600 at the Satellite High Reggie Johnson Memorial Meet 2021.


Qualifying time to beat for the girls is 5:54.00


7th grader McKenzie Ferdine 5:45.86,


6th graders Alex Palekar 5:45.86, Emily Pymm 5:45.89, Vicki Zea 5:50.85


Just missing the standard, but turning in a great 5th grade time was Gianna Gallego at 5:54.71.


7th grader Scotty Sanok qualifies for the first time by getting under the 5:10.0 boys standard at 5:09.8.


After the meet we headed to Kissimmee for a Saturday meet at the 2021 Central Florida Spring Opener 2021, where all these kids qualified for Middle School States in the 3k.


Scotty blows through the 10:50.0 boys qualifying standard in 10:23.3 while Alex 11:37.2, Emily 11:43.22, Gianna 11:44.22, Vicki 11:45.11 and McKenzie 12:09.61 ran under the girls standard of 12:10.00.


8th grader Coralea Russon won the Shot Put event with a throw of 30.18 ft. surpassing the 30' qualifying standard.


Congrats to all of MS States qualifiers.
