Our own Hunter Morgan, who is now a sophomore and running for the South Florida Heat, made All County Cross Country for 2021.
The all-county award is given to the best high school athletes from the 2021 Fall Season in Broward and Palm Beach counties by the Sun Sentinel.
Hunter came back from a summer injury to win the District and Regional titles as an individual en route to 37th place at the Class 1A State Meet; ran a best-time of 16:51:13, which the 2nd best time in school history.
Hunter is one of the original Boca Warriors runners, when the team was created 3 years ago, and still runs as a Boca Warrior as many times as possible. Most recently he ran in November as a Boca Warrior at the West Orange Carnival.
He continues to run as Boca Warrior whenever possible and is a mentor to our younger team members, showing up to some of our practices to run with, encourage and drop a nugget or two of running wisdom to our younger team athletes.
